Three vehicle crash on A39

Emergency services are responding to a collision involving three vehicles on the A39 at Devoran this morning.

The incident was reported shortly before 10am, prompting authorities to close the road at the top of Carnon Downs carriageway.

Drivers are urged to steer clear of the area to allow emergency crews to operate safely.

One of the vehicles involved is a tanker, which will require specialist recovery equipment to be safely removed.

Emergency responders have successfully extracted one driver from their vehicle.

Although the extent of injuries is still being assessed, they are currently not believed to be life-threatening.

Motorists are advised to expect delays and seek alternative routes while the situation is managed.
