Toby Parkins, a tech entrepreneur, has taken on the role of interim CEO at Cornwall Chamber of Commerce, following John Brown's departure to concentrate on private sector work, but remain involved on the board.

Parkins, who co-founded Cornwall's prominent tech company Headforwards and the innovative tech space FibreHub, will lead the chamber during its leadership transition, ensuring the needs of local businesses remain prioritised.

Stepping into the role from his position as the chamber's president, Parkins aims to champion the business community, focusing on their growth and ensuring their voices are heard across the nation.

In the midst of the search for a permanent CEO, Parkins commits to maintaining momentum in advancing Cornwall’s business ecosystem and providing support during this transitional period:

"One of my first priorities is actually to connect with as many businesses as possible and maintain our events schedule. "
