Documentary tribute to Cornish aid worker wins big at the RTS awards
'Hell Jumper' was made in memory of Chris Parry
A documentary made in the memory of an aid worker from Cornwall, who died in Ukraine, has won at the Royal Television Society Awards.
'Hell Jumper' tells the story of Chris Parry, who went to Ukraine to help people fleeing war.
At the 2025 awards night on Tuesday (25th March), the film won in the Single Documentary category.
The film shows moving Go-Pro bodycam footage from the group of volunteers as they evacuated people from their homes.
It hopes to show the power of young people, social media, bravery and a drive to help out people in need.
“Viewers were taken on an unforgettable journey through brilliant, immersive storytelling,” said the judges.
