A bird flu case has been confirmed near Bodmin.

A 3km protection zone and 10km surveillance zone has been put in place around the premises.

All poultry on the premises will be humanely culled.

Cornwall Council is urging all bird keepers in the area to remain vigilant and follow strict biodiversity measures.

A separate case has also been confirmed in Wirral on Merseyside.
