Appeal after collision involving 4x4 and motorcycle in St Austell

Police are appealing for witnesses and dash-cam footage, after a collision involving a motorcycle and 4x4 vehicle, in St Austell.

At around 3.25pm on Friday 2 October officers were called to South Street, at the junction with Moorland Road.

Emergency services attended the scene and the motorcycle rider was taken to hospital having suffered multiple injuries.

The injuries are not life-threatening, nor life-changing.

South Street was closed, to allow for officers to conduct an investigation.

Officers from the Roads Policing Team are appealing for any witnesses in the area that may have seen the collision, or have dash camera or CCTV footage to come forward via either 101 or the website quoting police reference 50260264705.
