Appeal for witnesses after two serious crashes on A388 near Holsworthy and Launceston
Police request help from drivers with dash-cam footage

Police are appealing for witnesses and dash-cam footage following two separate road traffic collisions on the A388 over the weekend.
On Monday 1st June, at around 12.15pm, a collision occurred between Holsworthy Beacon and Milton Damerel involving a blue Volvo V90 Estate and a grey Ford Ranger Pickup. Two people in the pickup, a man and woman in their 60s from Yorkshire, suffered injuries that are believed to be life-changing. The driver of the Volvo, a man in his 70s from Cornwall, sustained minor injuries.
Additionally, police are investigating a serious incident near Launceston. On Saturday 30th May, around 2.40pm, a three-vehicle collision happened on the A388 near Dutson, involving two Yamaha motorbikes and a red Ford Fiesta. A 33-year-old motorbike rider was hospitalised with serious injuries.
Both incidents prompted road closures while investigations were carried out, with police thanking the public for their cooperation.
