The anniversary celebrations will feature a 500-strong choir, including local community choirs and school children, performing specially commissioned songs such as Cornwall My Home, A Song for the Eden Project, and Happy Birthday.

Visitors and media will also witness a showstopper birthday cake cutting, crafted by award-winning local cake artist Emily Hankins, set against the backdrop of the Mediterranean Biome.

Co-founder Sir Tim Smit OBE and CEO Andy Jasper will welcome guests and lead a ceremonial garland cutting to usher in the next quarter-century of Eden’s work.

Andy Jasper said this speaking to us:

"It was Nelson Mandela who said, it's almost impossible. You always think of it as almost impossible until it's done."

"And that's absolutely the case with Eden."

"When you saw that hole in the ground 25 years ago, I mean, often I talk to Tim Smith and I say to him, you know, what were you thinking at that moment?"

"He said, I just knew"

The day will also include opportunities for interviews, behind-the-scenes filming, and reflections from volunteers, local supporters, and schoolchildren who have been part of Eden’s journey.

The event highlights the Eden Project’s ongoing commitment to community, education, and environmental transformation, celebrating a legacy built over 25 years while looking ahead to the future of the charity and its gardens.
