Hits Radio 00s - WIN TICKETS TO NE-YO & AKON (on-air T&Cs)
These Competition terms and conditions should be read together with, and are in addition to, Bauer Radio Limited’s standard terms and conditions at: http://www.bauerlegal.co.uk/radio-competition-terms.html (the “General Terms”). Together these specific competition terms and conditions and the General Terms shall be referred to as the “Terms”. Where there is a conflict between these terms and the General Terms, these terms shall prevail.
ITEM 1: COMPETITION NAME
“Win tickets to see Ne-Yo & Akon on Hits Radio 00s!” running from the Start Date to the End Date as set out below (the “Competition”).
ITEM 2: PROMOTER
Bauer Radio Limited (t/a, Hits Radio), registered office: Media House Peterborough Business Park, Lynch Wood, Peterborough, United Kingdom, PE2 6EA and registered under company number 01394141 (the “Promoter”)
This is a Hits Radio 00s competition, running on Hits Radio 00s Breakfast with Joel Ross.
ITEM 3: WEBSITE
The website is the parent brand’s website www.hitsradio.co.uk
ITEM 4: COMPETITION START DATE AND END DATE
Competition rounds take place daily on Hits Radio 00s Breakfast with Joel Ross, which broadcasts between 7am and 11am Monday to Friday, across the following period:
Start Date: Monday 20th April 2026
End Date: Friday 24th April 2026
Each contest round will be clearly opened on air and a closing time for that round will be given by the presenter on air.
Any entries received before the start date and time, or after the end date and time, will not be entered but you may still be charged.
ITEM 5: ENTRANT RESTRICTIONS
The Competition is only open to people aged 18 and over who: (i) live in the United Kingdom, (ii) are not one of our employees (or living with, or related to, one of our employees) and (iii) are not one the employees of any company associated with the competition (or living with, or related to, one of the employees). The named winner of “The Prize” must be one of the guests and have valid ID with them when they collect “The Prize”.
Entrants are only able to win a single prize throughout the duration of this Competition. There is no limit on the value of a single prize that may be provided to the individual winner of a Competition. However, no person may win more than one prize valued at £500 or more via any of our Competitions in any six (6) month period. A winner may continue to receive SMS messages in relation to the Competition and invitations to enter the Competition. For the avoidance of doubt, a winner should not enter the Competition again if they have already won in the previous six (6) months as they are ineligible to win. If a previous winner is drawn at random in a subsequent competition, or subsequent round of the same competition, they will be disqualified, and another entrant will be drawn at random. If it emerges after a winner has been awarded a Prize that they are a previous winner, in breach of these terms and conditions, they will be excluded and the Prize shall not be paid to them. If the Prize has already been paid, this must be returned immediately upon request. For clarity, it is possible to be drawn more than once to play the Competition between the Start Date and End Date, and if the entrant drawn has not previously won the Prize, they are eligible to play again.
In addition to previous winners, family relations of, or those living at the same residential address as, previous winners of this contest are ineligible to enter.
ITEM 6: ROUTES OF ENTRY AND COSTS
You can enter the competition by calling 0333 20 25 700. Calls are charged at your standard network rate.
Entrants must enter during the Entry Period of the Competition. Any entries received outside of the Entry Period will not be entered.
ITEM 7: DRAW DETAILS & WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT
The opening and closing time for each competition will be announced on air.
The presenter will play a short mix of Ne-Yo and Akon songs. In order to win, entrants must call when prompted to identify the names of the tracks within the mix.
One entrant will be selected at random to play. If that entrant gets it wrong, we reserve the right to pick another entrant until a correct answer is given.
By entering the Competition, you are automatically consenting to being called live on air at this time (where a call is not recorded off-air), and to having your name and location announced on-air.
The name and the hometown of the winner may also be posted on the Promoter’s website and / or social media platforms after they have been announced on-air.
ITEM 8: PRIZE DETAILS
We have various pairs of Ne-Yo & Akon tickets to give away, for the following gigs:
- Utilita Arena, Newcastle, 27th April 2026
- First Direct Bank Arena, Leeds, 30th April 2026
- Coop Live, Manchester, 1st May 2026
- Utilita Arena, Birmingham, 4th May 2026
- The O2, London, 8th May 2026
Monday to Thursday, we’ll allow the daily winners to choose which gig they want tickets for. On the final day (Friday), the entrant will only win tickets to the remaining gig left to be chosen.
For the following venues, tickets will be released via the AXS app (winners will need to download the app if they don’t have it already, and let us know the email address associated with their AXS account at the point of winning). We will then transfer their tickets over to them:

- Utilita Arena, Birmingham, 4th May 2026
- The O2, London, 8th May 2026
Coop Live, Manchester tickets are via the Ticketmaster app, so winners will need to download the app and let us know the email address associated with their account at the point of winning.
No food, drink, travel, accommodation or spending money is included.
The name of your competition entry must match that on your ID if you are asked to present it at the venue.
It must be you that attends, tickets are non-transferable.
Please bring photo ID to the site with you. Without this, you may be refused entry.
Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and no cash alternative will be offered.
Where, it emerges after the Prize has been awarded that the entrant was in breach of these terms and conditions, we reserve the right to withdraw the Prize from that winner and they will not be entitled to any further reward or remuneration. We reserve the right to exclude individuals who breach our terms and conditions from entering our competitions.
ITEM 9: DATA PROTECTION
By entering the competition, you are automatically consenting to receiving marketing communications from us via SMS text message. You can opt out of this at any time by texting: STOP to 63103. This will be charged at your standard network rate but you will need to do this each time you text us to enter the competition. Your personal data will (regardless of whether you opt-out) always be used to process your entry. ITEM 10: INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & CONSENT
We will sometimes (at our discretion) telephone entrants and ask them to speak on-air. You have the right to refuse. If you consent, your voice will be recorded and you consent to this recording being used on our radio broadcasts. You agree that we will own this recording and that a copy of it will be stored for further exploitation, which may include promotion. You will not be put through to speak on-air if we think you are driving, intoxicated, likely to swear, or otherwise offend our listeners. Whilst on air for the purposes of this competition you must not use foul language, swear, say or do anything defamatory or illegal or say or do anything which would damage the reputation of Bauer, is offensive or inappropriate or which would cause us, or our listeners, harm. Failure to comply will result in disqualification, and if you have won the prize, this will be forfeited.
ITEM 11: OTHER CONDITIONS
We will only accept entries that comply with our terms and conditions and we may disqualify you if we know or suspect that you have breached them. Our decision on the selection of the winner is final and we won’t engage in any correspondence or discussion about this or about the operation of this competition. We are not responsible for any network or technical issues you experience, such as latency of your mobile phone network, which may delay or prevent your participation or cause you to lose the competition if on-air. We have the right to cancel, amend, terminate or suspend this competition if forced to do so due to circumstances outside our control. We are not responsible if you fail to get through when text to enter, or if you lose signal during a call. You are responsible for all costs of entry and where necessary, obtaining the bill payer’s permission. Please refer to your tariff with your network provider for information about charges you may incur for entry into our competitions via any SMS or phone call entry route.
