Police launch witness appeal after man dies in Wisbech collision

A 50-year-old male cyclist was involved in a collision with a car on Churchill Road.

Police are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist died following a collision in Wisbech.

The incident happened at around 5.50pm last Friday, when a 50-year-old male cyclist was in a collision with a silver Vauxhall Corsa on Churchill Road (A1101), at the junction with Norwich Road.

The man was airlifted to Addenbrookes Hospital, where he died yesterday.

A 19-year-old woman who was driving the Vauxhall was uninjured in the collision. She stopped at the scene and is assisting police.
