Police launch witness appeal after man dies following A14 collision

Police have launched a witness appeal after a man died following a collision on the A14 yesterday.

At around 6.45am, the collision between a blue Scania lorry and a red Suzuki SX4 happened on the A14 eastbound at Godmanchester.

The driver of the lorry, a man in his 50s, from Waddington, Lincolnshire, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Suzuki's driver, a man in his 30s, was not injured and is helping police with enquiries.

Officers are appealing for information and dashcam footage from anyone who may have witnessed the collision or any of the vehicles in the moments leading up to it.
