Cyclist killed following crash in in Peterborough

The 49 year old passed away after several weeks in hospital

A 49-year-old cyclist has died of his injuries following a collision in Peterborough last month.

The cyclist, who was from Peterborough, was taken to hospital in a critical condition after the crash at Rhubarb Bridge, near Lincoln Road.

The incident occurred at about 6.45pm on the 21st of February.

He passed away on the 9th of March.

No other vehicles were involved in the collision.

Authorities are asking anyone who saw the cyclist in the moments leading up to the crash to come forward and provide information.
