Seven human skeletons have been discovered during roadworks in Peterborough.
The remains were found on land within the Queensgate roundabout, where work is taking place as part of the City Link project.
The skeletons are believed to have come from a cemetery that dates back to the Medieval period and was later used during Victorian times.
The council has obtained an archaeological licence and appointed a specialist archaeologist to make sure the remains are reburied in line with national guidelines.
The City Link works are expected to be delayed by four weeks, but the council says it's looking at ways to make up time in the later phases of the project.
