Tributes have been paid to Tobias and Finley Rice, brothers from the Christchurch area in Dorset, who died following a collision on the A30 near Connor Downs in Cornwall.

The incident took place at around 11am on 29th May as the boys were heading to St Ives.

Eight-year-old Tobias was pronounced dead at the scene, while his five-year-old brother Finley sustained serious injuries and was taken to Bristol Children’s Hospital, where he died on 2nd June.

The parents of the boys described them as "full of life and energy," noting their love for school and scouting activities.

Tobias had recently advanced to cubs, and Finley was soon to join beavers.

Their parents expressed gratitude towards emergency services and the NHS in the South West for their support during this difficult time.

The family has requested privacy as they cope with the loss.
