Local residents in the Parkstone area of Poole are being urged to contact their electricity supplier if they're still without power following yesterday's underground fire.
People are being urged to report any continuing problems by calling the 105 number, which will put you through to your network operator.
The fire - yesterday afternoon (April 24) - impacted at least four manhole covers and forced the closure of Ashley Road at its junction with Mansfield Road and Victoria Road.
Residents posted images of the incident on a local Facebook group yesterday.
In a statement, Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue said: "We were called to Ashley Road, Poole after reports of several manhole covers being blown open.
"A crew from Westbourne attended and an underground fire was identified, which had affected at least four manhole covers and caused some loss of power in the immediate area.
"Anyone who has lost their electricity supply is asked to report it by calling 105.
"Ashley Road was closed at its junction with Mansfield Road and Victoria Road, and local people were advised to avoid the area.
"Firefighters maintained a cordon until it was safe for us to leave.
"Our stop came in at 2.10pm."
