New outdoor gym installed in Chickerell
17 pieces of equipment has been set up in Grey's Field
A new outdoor gym's been created for residents in Chickerell to use - with the Town Council holding an official opening ceremony.
17 pieces of equipment have been installed on Grey's Field, aimed at all fitness levels.
The kit will be opened with an event on Saturday 1st March, with local personal trainer Julien Lawes giving advice to people on how to use the gym correctly and safely.
Chickerell Mayor Cllr John Dean said: "This fantastic new outdoor gym provides a wonderful opportunity for our community to stay active and healthy.
"It's a great way for people of all ages to enjoy exercise in the fresh air and I encourage everyone to come along and make the most of this excellent facility."
