Police searching for a missing woman in Bournemouth say they're found a body.

21 year old June had been reported as missing on Wednesday last week (30th April).

A body was discovered in the Turbary Common area at around 11.00pm last night (Wednesday 7th May).

Formal ID has yet to take place, but June's family have been informed.

Officers say the death is not being treated as suspicious, and a file's being prepared for HM Coroner.

Chief Inspector Darren Moores, of Dorset Police, said: “Our thoughts are very much with the family and loved ones of June at this extremely difficult time.

“I would like to thank all those involved in the search efforts to locate her, including volunteers from Dorset Search and Rescue (DorSAR).

“There will still be an increased police presence in the area as police activities continue.”
