Two more teens charged with Smethwick murder

Police have charged two more teenagers over the murder of Zeshan Afzal who was fatally stabbed in Smethwick.

Yesterday officers detained two boys, both aged 17, in connection with his death.

The pair, who cannot be named for legal reasons, have been charged with murder and remanded to appear before Wolverhampton Youth Court tomorrow (5 March).

Officers previously charged three other teens over the death of 18-year-old Zeshan who was found seriously injured in Oldbury Road. It follows disorder at just before 9pm on 20 February.
