Two Men Charged with Attempted Murder in Solihull

Victim remains in serious condition after early morning attack in Heathmere Drive

West Midlands Police were called to an address on Heathmere Drive just before 05:00 BST on Tuesday, where a man in his 20s was found with head injuries. He remains in a serious condition in hospital.

Ben Edwards, 26, and Dean Edwards, 30, both from Solihull, were arrested in connection with the incident and have been charged with attempted murder. They were remanded to appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court.

Police have urged anyone with information to come forward, either via Live Chat on the force’s website or by calling 101, quoting log 497 of 7 April.
