Teenager arrested after 16-year-old stabbed in Bordesley Green

A teenager has been arrested after another was stabbed in Bordesley Green on Saturday (15th Feb).

A 16-year-old was stabbed on Pretoria Road at around 3.30pm where he was then taken to hospital with serious injuries.

He remains in hospital in a serious condition.

Another 16-year-old was arrested in connection to the incident and remains in custody for questioning.

It comes as a protest was held on Pretoria Road yesterday (16 Feb) following the attack, where locals called for more to be done to combat knife crime in the city.

West Midlands Police are continuing their enquiries and appealing for help with their investigation.
