A second man has been charged with murder following a fatal house fire in Birmingham.
A second man has been charged with murder following a fatal house fire in Birmingham.
Daniel Gardner, 37, died following the blaze, which broke out on Saxons Way in Highters Heath in the early hours of Friday morning (19 Sept). He was taken to hospital but died a short time later.
Tyler Pythian, 18, is now accused of murder and is due to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court today.
West Midlands Police said: "Our thoughts remain with Daniel’s family at this tragic time and we continue to offer them our full support as our investigation continues.
"We are still asking anyone with information or footage which could help our enquiries to call us on 101, quoting log 174 of 19 September.
