Reward offered for information to find West Midlands wanted man
Alex Parker is believed to have left the UK
A reward of £8,500 is being offered to find a man with links to the West Midlands, who's wanted in connection with a suspected kidnapping and robbery.
Police are looking to speak to 27-year-old Alex Parker about an incident in November 2021.
Parker grew up with close ties to the West Midlands, regularly spending time in Birmingham, Wolverhampton and Lichfield. Officers initially questioned him in late 2021 before releasing him on bail.
However, police say Parker failed to return to Kidderminster police station as required in September 2022 and has remained wanted since.
Information suggests he left the country in 2023 and has been living in the Middle East.
Alan Edwards, West Midlands Regional Manager at the charity Crimestoppers, said: “Alex Parker remains wanted, and information from the public could be vital in helping locate him. Even a small piece of information could make a significant difference.
“We know there are many reasons why someone may not feel comfortable speaking directly to the police. Crimestoppers is here to provide a safe, completely anonymous alternative. We do not judge, we do not ask for your personal details, and we never trace calls or online reports.
“If you know where Alex Parker is or have information about his whereabouts, please contact Crimestoppers anonymously.”
Crimestoppers, a charity which operates independently of the police, will only consider information provided directly to them as eligible for the reward.
Anyone with knowledge of Parker's whereabouts or information that could assist in locating him is encouraged to contact Crimestoppers anonymously.
The charity can be reached via its website at www.crimestoppers-uk.org or through its 24/7 UK Contact Centre at 0800 555 111.
