Police appeal for information after Robert Maxfield absconds from HMP Sudbury
Public urged to assist in locating escaped inmate with Birmingham links
Derbyshire Constabulary is appealing for assistance in locating Robert Maxfield, who has escaped from HMP Sudbury.
Maxfield, 48, has connections to Birmingham and Dudley areas and left the open prison earlier today.
He was serving a sentence imposed in 2011 for offences including causing death by dangerous driving.
Maxfield is described as white with a medium build, standing approximately 5ft 11ins tall with brown hair.
The public is advised not to approach him directly.
Anyone who may have seen him or has information regarding his whereabouts should contact Derbyshire police using the reference 513 of 18th September.
