Police arrest man following teenage boy's death after collision in Birmingham
The arrest comes after a collision between a car and a bike in the Small Heath area of the city in the early hours of Friday morning.
Police have arrested a man after the death of a teenage boy following a collision in Small Heath.
Officers were called to the junction of Cattell Road and Templefield Street at around 5.25am on Friday morning following reports of a collision between a car and a cyclist.
The cyclist, a 16-year-old boy, was taken to hospital but died on Saturday of his injuries. His family are being supported by specialist police officers.
A 47-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
