It comes as Reform UK says its ready to 'Throw everything' at Birmingham Council campaign
Reform UK leader Nigel Farage has said the party will launch an all-out effort to top the Birmingham City Council poll on May 7.
Speaking during a visit to a steel stockholding firm in the Pensnett area of Dudley, West Midlands, Mr Farage said he believed the party had a "really good chance" of winning control of the country's largest local authority.
Mr Farage told an audience of party supporters on Tuesday: "Where the West Midlands goes, generally, is where the country goes.
"And it's been like that for a very, very long time.
"You will be seeing a lot of Richard (Tice) and myself between now and May 7."
Speaking to the Press Association after a speech in which Boston and Skegness MP Richard Tice unveiled plans to "reindustrialise" Britain, Mr Farage also said he believed Thursday's Gorton and Denton by-election will be a three-way fight.
Talking about the Birmingham local authority poll scheduled for May 7 - with all 101 seats in the city being contested - the Reform UK leader said: "Our big slogan as a party is Britain is broken, Britain needs Reform.
"Well, nowhere is as broken as Birmingham. With the bin strikes and everything else that's going on.
"And I think people are looking for change. We're going to throw everything we've got at those Birmingham elections, and I think we've got... seriously we could just do it in Birmingham. We really could."
