Motorcyclist dies following collision on the M6
It happened near Junction 10 at Walsall earlier this afternoon
Police are at the scene of a fatal collision on the M6 near Walsall this afternoon.
Officers were called shortly before 3pm after a collision involving a lorry and a motorcycle near Junction 10 of the M6.
The rider of the motorcycle was sadly confirmed dead at the scene. The driver of the lorry remained at the scene to help officers with their enquiries.
Officers are remaining at the scene with colleagues from Highways and the other emergency services.
As a result, the road will remain closed for some time into this evening.
