Man seriously hurt and two arrested after attack in Birmingham
A man in his fifties is in hospital with serious injuries after being attacked on Birmingham’s Broad Street early this morning.

Police were called to the area at around 3.30am today, where the victim, a man in his 50s, was treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken to hospital.
Two men, aged 37 and 45, have been arrested on suspicion of assault and remain in police custody while enquiries continue.
A cordon remains in place on Broad Street while forensic examinations are carried out. Officers are also reviewing CCTV to establish exactly what happened.
