Police in Northfield are seeking assistance from the public after a man was spotted carrying a longbow on Norman Road.
Reports emerged on Tuesday at approximately 2pm, describing a man walking with the weapon in the area.
The man is believed to be about 5ft 7ins tall, wearing a bobble hat, camo trousers, and a black jacket featuring a white zip.
Authorities have indicated that although no threats were made, the sighting has understandably caused concern among those in the vicinity.
In response, additional officers have been deployed to the area to provide reassurance.
