Man charged with attempted murder following Smethwick shooting
He's the second to be charged with attempted murder over the incident
A man has been charged with attempted murder after a shooting in Smethwick.
Emergency services were called at around 1.30am on 11th March to Bearwood Road, following reports a 19-year-old man had been shot in the leg.
The victim was taken to hospital and also arrested on suspicion of violent disorder.
He's since been discharged and is on police bail.
Akobi Folarin, 23, appeared at Wolverhampton Magistrates' Court charged with attempted murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
Another 21-year-old man has previously been charged with attempted murder and remains in custody.
A further arrest was also made following the incident.
A 20-year-old was arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply.
He's on police bail as investigations continue.
