Man charged with rape after woman seriously sexually assaulted in Perry Barr
A 21-year-old man is due in court today.
A man has been charged with rape after a woman was attacked in Perry Barr, Birmingham, last Saturday (18 Jan).
Cornel Filipeche, 21, of no fixed abode, is due in court today, accused of raping a woman near the One Stop Shopping Centre on Walsall Road in the early hours of Saturday morning.
He is also accused of robbery and causing grievous bodily harm.
He has been remanded in custody and will appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court today (23 Jan).
