Man charged following shooting in Digbeth
It happened at Luna Springs on Sunday night
Police have charged a man with a firearms offence after a shooting in Digbeth.
Rowan Youngsam, aged 20, has been remanded in custody to appear before Birmingham magistrates tomorrow, accused of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, and wounding with intent.
It follows disorder which is believed to have started inside the Luna Springs venue, before spilling out onto the street at the corner of Hack Street and Bromley Street at around 11.20pm on Sunday.
A man aged 23 suffered a gunshot wound to the leg. He remains under arrest in hospital on suspicion of violent disorder and will be questioned in due course.
A man aged 30 who was arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and possession of a knife has been released on bail while investigations continue.
