Woman dies after being hit by car in Wolverhampton

Police are appealing for help to find the car involved in the crash

A woman's died after being hit by a car in Wolverhampton.

Police say the woman in her 20s was hit by a blue Audi Q2 on Birmingham Road, near Johnson Street, just after 10pm last night (11th October).

Tragically she was confirmed dead at the scene.

The vehicle failed to stop and now police are urging anyone who has seen the car to get in touch.

They say it has the registration WH21 GHO and may have some damage to the windscreen.
