Crews tackle grassland fire in Halesowen

Around 55 firefighters are currently in attendance at a fire, affecting grassland at the rear of Cocksheds Lane, Halesowen.

11 fire engines and a 4×4 brigade response vehicle are at the scene, crewed by firefighters from Oldbury, Ladywood, Woodgate Valley, Stourbridge, Tettenhall, Bournbrook, Wolverhampton, Billesley, Highgate and Northfield.

Firefighters are working across the site, to prevent the fire spreading.
