Boy, 14, seriously injured after being hit by bike in Birmingham park
A 14-year-old boy is a serious condition after being involved in a collision in Castle Vale, Birmingham.
A 14-year-old boy has been seriously injured and remains in hospital following a collision in Birmingham.
He was struck by a bike in Castle Vale Centre Park shortly before 8pm on Sunday (31 May).
Police are appealing for help to locate the bike, which they describe as a black and yellow off-road scrambler.
They have released images, saying, "Although the pictures we are releasing aren’t the clearest – any information could be vital to our investigation."
Det Sgt Rich Evans, from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU), said: “Someone, somewhere, must know something about this bike, and we are focussed on finding it as we continue our investigation.
“It may have been dumped or may be being stored.
“Any information, no matter how small, could be vital to our enquiries.
“Likewise, if anyone saw what happened, or has footage from around the area, please get in touch urgently.”
A 16-year-old boy who was arrested has been released on bail.
