A man has been charged after a 16-year-old boy was killed in a crash in Birmingham.
A man has been charged after a 16-year-old boy was killed in a crash in Small Heath, Birmingham.
The teenager was riding his bike when he was involved in a collision with a car at the junction between Cattell Road and Templefield Street last Friday morning (28 August).
Clyde Carey, 47, was arrested over the weekend and has since been charged with causing death by dangerous driving, failing to stop at the scene, and causing death while uninsured.
He appeared at Birmingham Magistrates Court yesterday (31 Aug) and has been remanded in custody.
He is due at Birmingham Crown Court on 28 September.
Police are still appealing for information from witnesses.
