Aston Villa to face PSG and Barcelona in Champions League
Europa League winners Villa gear up for elite competition
Aston Villa are preparing for a challenging yet exciting journey in this season's Champions League, where they will face holders Paris St Germain and Spanish champions Barcelona.
The Europa League winners, returning to Europe's elite competition, will host Unai Emery’s former side PSG at Villa Park—a repeat of their quarter-final clash from two seasons ago.
Villa will also welcome Borussia Dortmund, Fenerbahce, and Norwegian side Viking to their home ground.
On the road, Villa will travel to the Nou Camp to face Barcelona, as well as visiting Club Brugge, Galatasaray, and Slavia Prague.
Manchester City are set to play Paris St Germain and Barcelona, while Liverpool face Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid.
The Gunners, beaten by PSG in last season's final, will encounter Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, and Napoli among others.
Manchester United are tasked with tackling old rivals Bayern Munich and potentially tough fixtures against clubs such as Atletico Madrid.
The complete schedule for the Champions League league phase, including match order, will be released by UEFA by Saturday at the latest.
