Arrest after teenage boy found with gunshot wound in Birmingham
Police say a 19 year old man is being held on suspicion of attempted murder
A man's been arrested after a teenage boy was found with a shot wound in Birmingham.
The fifteen year old was found by police in Newtown, late last Thursday and was taken to hospital with injuries which are not life-threatening.
It’s understood he was shot at the nearby park by Porchester Street.
A 19 year old man is being held on suspicion of attempted murder.
Officers say they're continuing to carry out a range of enquiries - including a thorough review of CCTV - to establish exactly what happened and who was involved.
