Appeal for Witnesses After Elderly Woman Seriously Injured in Birmingham Collision
Police are investigating after a woman in her 70s was struck by a car on Frankley Beeches Road on Boxing Day
An investigation is ongoing after an elderly woman was seriously injured in a collision in Birmingham.
The woman, aged in her 70s, was crossing Frankley Beeches Road on Boxing Day when she was hit by a car at the junction with Elan Road and Tessall Lane shortly after 5pm.
She suffered serious injuries and is still recovering.
The driver stopped at the scene and was spoken to by officers. Police are now appealing for the public’s help as they work to establish exactly what happened.
Anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has dashcam or CCTV footage, is asked to get in touch. Officers are also keen to hear from anyone with footage of a grey car in the Hamstead Road or Villa Road area beforehand.
