A Reading based charity say they have been 'overwhelmed' by enquiries to adopt three sisters.

Parents and Carers Together (PACT) are looking for a permanent home for Lily, Rose and Violet*, triplet sisters who have been together since birth.

They are looking for a family for the two identical twins and their fraternal sister, external, who are 16 months old.

Since the charity launched the appeal earlier this month they say they have received an 'overwhelming amount of interest and our team is currently working through all the enquiries. We warmly welcome further interest from anyone who would like to find our more.'

Twins Lily and Rose have been diagnosed with a visual impairment and are registered as blind. Violet is doing well developmentally and reaching all expected milestones.

The charity says that despite their challenges, the sisters share an "incredible bond and bring joy to everyone who meets them".

Mandy Davies, assistant director of adoption services at PACT said: "These three sisters have such a strong and loving connection, and it's vital that they can stay together in a family who will cherish and nurture them."

The charity added that it was committed to providing full support, training and guidance to potential adopters.
