Drug dealer jailed for over six years for heroin and crack supply in Basingstoke
Rrahim Statovci sentenced following Northern Area Crime Team investigation
Rrahim Statovci, a 23-year-old from Mill Street, Slough, has been sentenced to six years and four months in prison for supplying heroin and crack cocaine in Basingstoke.
Statovci orchestrated the operation supplying Class A drugs under the alias 'Rico' from July 2025 to January 2026.
His arrest followed a comprehensive investigation by the Northern Area Crime Team, which uncovered the drug line linking Slough to Basingstoke.
The investigation led to the seizure of up to £15,000 worth of heroin and crack cocaine and £3,300 in cash while Statovci was managing the operation.
Charged with being concerned in the supply of both heroin and crack cocaine, Statovci pleaded guilty to the offences.
He was sentenced at Winchester Crown Court on Thursday, 30th July.
Police Staff Investigator Michael Longmore highlighted the importance of the sentencing: “I hope this sentence highlights that we will do everything we can to ensure Basingstoke and the surrounding areas are not targeted by drugs networks."
Longmore noted the significant harm caused by Class A drugs in communities, emphasizing issues such as violence and exploitation linked to drug supply.
He reaffirmed the commitment to pursuing criminals to safeguard Basingstoke and its surroundings.
