A drug dealer from Thatcham has been jailed for four years.

31 year-old Daniel Wilder, of Montacute Drive, Thatcham, pleaded guilty to two counts of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs, namely cocaine, and two counts of possession of a Class B drug, namely cannabis. He was sentenced at Reading Crown Court on 28 August.

PC Macy Watson, from the Neighbourhood Disruptions Team for Newbury, said: “Wilder continued to deal Class A drugs even while on bail.

“The supply of drugs causes significant harm to our communities and we will continue to identify those involved, disrupt their criminal activity and bring them before the courts.

“This sentence demonstrates our commitment to tackling drug-related crime and protecting the public.”
