Bradley Fox, a 28-year-old from Basingstoke, has been jailed for two years and four months for distributing child sex abuse material.
He came under police scrutiny after uploading indecent images of children online.
Officers arrested Fox at his Brahms Road home on 21st January 2025, where a search revealed digital devices containing evidence of him sending abusive videos and images to others.
Investigators found three category C images and four category A videos, which are the most serious.
Fox faced charges for two counts of distributing indecent images of children and three counts of making indecent images.
He admitted to these at Winchester Crown Court on 25th August this year.
As part of his sentencing on 2nd October, Fox received a 10-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order and must comply with sex offender notification requirements for the next decade.
PC Ollie Green from Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary’s Internet Child Abuse Investigation Team emphasised the real and severe harm behind every image.
He said: “At the centre of every child abuse image is a real child being abused. Some of the images that Fox had in his possession were category A and showed some of the most horrific sexual violence perpetrated against children.
“When these images are downloaded, uploaded, or shared amongst users, that creates further demand for this type of material and ultimately will lead to more children being abused.
“These investigations can be lengthy and complex, and can be some of the most harrowing that any police officer will deal with, but as an investigation team ICAT are dedicated to finding those responsible and bringing them to justice.”
