Following an investigation by Thames Valley Police, a man has been charged with attempted murder in Slough.

Lewis Shaw, aged 21, of Slough, was charged yesterday with three counts of attempted murder, one count each of possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.

The charge is in relation to a firearms incident in Earls Lane last Friday.

Shaw has been remanded into custody and is due to appear at Reading Crown Court on 6 July 2026.

Six other men have been arrested and bailed in relation to this incident.

Another man, aged 19, remains in police custody at this time on suspicion of assisting an offender.

Detective Inspector Liam Butler said: “We believe that there is no wider threat to the public, but an increased police presence will remain in the area.

“If you have any concerns, questions or information, please speak with a uniformed officer, or call 101.

“I am still appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or have any dash cam footage to please come forward and let us know.”
