Serious collision in Stevenage leaves man with life-threatening injuries

Police seek information and dash cam footage following incident on Graveley Road

Police are appealing for witnesses, information, and dash cam footage following a serious collision in Stevenage that resulted in a pedestrian sustaining life-threatening injuries.

The incident occurred at around 6:15pm on Tuesday (3rd February) on Graveley Road, when a white BMW 1 Series collided with a man aged in his 50s.

The pedestrian was taken to hospital with severe injuries, and a 24-year-old man from Stevenage was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.

He has been released on bail as investigations continue.

Detective Constable Alison Elderfield, from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “Our enquiries are ongoing as we continue to establish the full circumstances.
