A second man has been charged with murder following the death of a teenager in Luton.

The 19-year-old was injured following a collision on Dallow Road shortly after 10.50pm on 18 September, and died at the scene.

Syed Shah, 20, of Runley Road has been charged with murder and subsequently remanded into custody. He will appear at court for a further hearing on Friday (25 September).

Police previously charged Mohammed Hussain, 20, of Runley Road with murder and subsequently remanded him into custody.

Detective Inspector Caeva Taylor, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit, said: "Our investigation remains active and a significant amount of work is being undertaken to establish the full circumstances surrounding this incident.

"Whilst two men have now been charged, our enquiries are ongoing and we continue to appeal for anyone with information who has not yet spoken to police to come forward.

"Any information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, could assist our investigation."
