Hundreds of properties near Marlow are without power after an underground network fault was reported in the Danesfield area early this morning.

Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) confirmed that 820 customers across 73 postcodes have been affected by the outage, which was first reported just after 07:15.

Engineers are currently on-site working to resolve the issue, with power expected to be restored by 11:30 on 26th January 2026. Updates will be provided if this timescale changes.

SSEN explained that faults on underground networks are common, and in many cases, power can be restored by replacing a fuse at the local substation. If the fault is more severe, the repairs may take longer to complete.
