Person dies at Welwyn North railway station

British Transport Police say the death is not being treated as suspicious

A person has died at a railway station in Hertfordshire.

British Transport Police said officers were called to Welwyn North railway station at 8.23am on this morning, Friday, following reports of a casualty on the tracks.

Paramedics also attended. A person was pronounced dead at the scene.

British Transport Police said the death is not being treated as suspicious. A file will be prepared for the coroner.
