Woman seriously sexually assaulted and another targeted in Milton Keynes
Two men have been arrested and released on bail
Two men have been arrested on suspicion of rape and attempted rape in Milton Keynes, and police have renewed their appeal for information.
A 22-year-old man and a 19-year-old man, both from Milton Keynes, were arrested in connection with the offences.
They have been released from police custody on conditional bail pending further enquiries.
The arrests follow the reported rape of a woman and the attempted rape of a second woman in Conniburrow in September.
Officers are now asking people living in Conniburrow, Bradwell, Bradwell Common, Linford Wood and Heelands to check for footage.
They also want to hear from people in any additional areas shown on a map issued with the appeal.
Police are looking for Ring doorbell, CCTV or dash cam footage of a man on a bicycle on Wednesday 23rd September between 8pm and 11pm.
Detective Inspector Graeme Williams, of Milton Keynes' Criminal Investigation Department, said: "Both women are being supported by officers and we remain in contact with them."
He also said: "Based on the information available to us at the current time, we do not believe these incidents to be linked to any other offences in the area."
DI Williams said: "Since these incidents were first reported to us we have been carrying out a range of comprehensive enquiries, including house to house and CCTV scoping in the area."
