Milton Keynes murder suspect detained under the Mental Health Act

A man from Milton Keynes has been detained under the Mental Health Act after being arrested on suspicion of murder.
A woman in her 50s was found dead inside a property on East Moor Drive, Wolverton Mill last Sunday (24th May).
On that same day, a 58-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder.
Thames Valley Police says an identification has not yet taken place.
DCI Will Crowther said: "We want to reassure the community that we are not currently looking for anyone else in connection with this incident.
“The victim’s next of kin are being supported by specially trained family liaison officers, and our thoughts remain with them at this extremely difficult time.
"The family have asked for their privacy to be respected."
