A man has been sentenced following a Thames Valley Police investigation into Class A drug supply in Aylesbury.

Abbas Hussain Akhlaq, aged 30, of Bicester Road, Aylesbury, was sentenced 30 months imprisonment at Aylesbury Crown Court on Thursday 19 February.

The court also ordered for the forfeiture of cash, forfeiture and destruction of drug paraphernalia and to pay a victim surcharge of £228.

Hussain Akhlaq pleaded guilty to being involved in the supply of Class A drugs in court last year.

Police carried out a warrant on his address in October 2024, where they seized cocaine, drug paraphernalia, cash and multiple mobile phones. One of the phones contained messages about the supply of drugs, including advertising messages and requests from customers.

Akhlaq was charged on 1 July last year.
