Man in life-threatening condition after Houghton Regis crash
Police seek witnesses to single-vehicle collision near Luton
A man in his 60s remains in a life-threatening condition after a crash in Houghton Regis, near the Luton border, yesterday.
Emergency services responded at around 11.30am to reports of a collision involving a black Vauxhall Corsa at the junction of Woodside Link and Wheatfield Road.
The driver of the car was taken to hospital following what is believed to be a medical episode.
Bedfordshire Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage to help establish the circumstances of the incident.
Sergeant Luke Jenkins from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Roads Policing Unit expressed support for the driver’s family during this difficult time.
“We are working to establish the full circumstances of this collision and are urging anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have dashcam footage from the area at the time, to come forward,” Jenkins said.
